1.After purchasing transformers, an immediate handover test should be arranged with the power supply authority. Humidity absorbers should be installed promptly, and transformers with a 500kva capacity should come equipped with humidity absorbers.
2.Monitor the silica gel inside the humidity absorbers, and replace it immediately if it becomes damp. The silica gel in the absorbers plays a role in absorbing moisture and protecting the transformer. When the silica gel becomes saturated with moisture, its color changes, indicating the need for replacement with fresh, dry silica gel.
3.When placing orders, pay attention to minimizing the storage time before the transformers are put into service. Transformers are prone to moisture damage during storage, and the longer the storage time, the more severe the moisture issues become. Therefore, it is crucial to plan well and minimize the storage time.
4.For hoisting, transportation, maintenance, refueling, oil valve draining, and other tasks, it is essential to drain any dirty oil from beneath the oil pillow using the oil drain plug. Wipe it clean with a dry cloth and seal it properly to prevent contaminated oil from entering the oil tank.
5.During transformer operation, regularly monitor changes in oil level, oil temperature, voltage, and current. If any abnormalities occur, analyze and address them promptly. It is strictly forbidden to use aluminum wire or bars to connect with the transformer's copper busbars during installation to avoid corrosion of the busbars.
