The VS1-12 medium voltage vacuum circuit breaker is powered by the energy stored in the spring mechanism during the closing operation. The energy storage mechanism can be driven by an external power source or manually with an energy storage handle. Once the energy is stored, an energy storage indicator displays "energy stored." Simultaneously, an energy storage switch disconnects the energy storage motor power, putting the circuit breaker in a closed state. During the closing operation, whether the "close" button is pressed manually or the remote operation triggers the closing electromagnetic coil, the circuit breaker can be closed. After the closing operation is completed, the energy storage indicator and the energy storage switch reset, and the motor power is restored. The motor is then re-energized. The closing indicator displays "close," and auxiliary switch contacts change position. In the opening operation, whether the "open" button is manually pressed or the remote operation triggers the closing electromagnetic coil, the circuit breaker can be opened. After the opening operation is completed, the opening indicator displays "open," and the auxiliary switch contacts change position. Simultaneously, during the opening operation, a counter advances by one, and the corresponding number can be observed through a panel observation window.
