4 mva 3 phase transformer in power system Installation specifications:


1.When pushing the transformer from the wide side, the low-voltage side should face outward. When pushing it from the side, the oil-side should be outward for easy live inspection.

2.Safety distances in the transformer room: For indoor transformers, the distance from the door should not be less than 1 meter, and from the wall, it should not be less than 0.8 meters. For transformers with a rated voltage of 35KV and above, the distance from the door should not be less than 2 meters, and from the wall, it should not be less than 1.5 meters. The brackets for secondary lines of the transformer should be at least 2.3 meters above the ground, and protective barriers should be added on both sides of high-voltage lines. In cases where the transformer room has operational switches, there should be an operational width of at least 1.2 meters in the direction of operation.

3.The transformer room is considered a Class I or Class II fire-resistant building, and the materials used for its main door and intake/exhaust windows should meet fire safety requirements.

4.Iron doors should be used in the transformer room, and if wooden doors are used, they should be clad with galvanized cold-rolled steel sheets (commonly known as iron sheets). The door's width and height should be determined based on equipment installation, typically around 1.5 meters in width and 2.5-2.8 meters in height, and the door should open outward. For smaller distribution rooms (less than 7 meters), one exit is allowed, but for those exceeding 7 meters, there should be no less than two exits.

5.The height of the transformer room's ceiling should meet the design requirements, generally not less than 4.5-5 meters.

6.Inlet and outlet louvers should have an inner layer with mesh openings not exceeding 10mm x 10mm to prevent the entry of animals. For ground-level inlet openings, louvers are not required, but vertical iron bars should be installed outside the mesh to prevent mechanical damage to the mesh. The vertical iron bars can be made from 1mm diameter round steel with 100mm spacing.

7.The top of exhaust windows in the transformer room should be close to the beams. The temperature during natural ventilation should not exceed 45°C. The effective area of the outlet should be 1.1-1.2 times greater than the effective area of the air inlet.

8.When the temperature of the incoming air for natural ventilation is 30°C, the distance from the transformer room floor to the outdoor floor should be 0.8 meters. When the incoming air temperature is 35°C, the distance should be 1 meter.

9.There should be no non-electrical pipelines passing through the transformer room. Measures should be taken to prevent small animals from entering cable conduits.

10.When the oil quantity of a single transformer exceeds 600 kg, an oil pit should be provided.
